A turnstile also called a baffle gate, is a form of gate that allows one person to pass at a time. It can also be made so as to enforce one-way traffic of people, and in addition, it can restrict passage only to people who insert a coin, a ticket, a pass, or similar. Thus Turnstiles are used in a wide variety of settings, including stadiums, amusement parks, museums, mass transit stations, office lobbies, retail sites, cafeterias, temporary exhibits, ski resorts, casinos, and souvenir stands.
From a business/revenue standpoint, turnstiles give an accurate, verifiable count of attendance. From a security standpoint, they lead patrons to enter single-file, so security personnel have a clear view of each patron. This enables security to efficiently isolate potential trouble or to confiscate any prohibited materials.
TANSA turnstiles are designed to excel in both internal and external environments. However, for applications in very humid or dusty settings, custom-designed turnstiles with optional features are available if the appropriate specifications are provided at the time of the order. TANSA turnstiles are ideal for both unidirectional and bidirectional passages which can be free or access-controlled
Even though access in both directions can be controlled by a card reader, the authorized security personnel of the client can override that setting for card-free access during certain times of the day. TANSA turnstiles allow free exit out of the site or the building in case of a power failure, a feature mandated by law. If the customer wants the turnstiles to remain locked during such an emergency, such functionality can be provided as an option, contingent upon the written request of the client.
Stainless steel reader leg. Stainless steel bottom plate.
LTT 313 has the smallest possible frame of all models rendering it especially suitable for installation in small spaces. TANSA turnstiles accept and work with a wide variety of proximity, magnetic, or biometric readers. Typical Applications Access to private offices in multi-story office complexes. This makes it possible for visitors to enter the building with a pass they receive from the security desk downstairs and have access only to that specific office. Entrance to buses and minibusses. Access to the restrooms and lockers in factories with a large number of workers. The greatest advantage of the mechanism is its monoblock welded construction. In some turnstile brands, the mechanism is attached to the turnstile body by bolts and screws. In contrast, the head mechanism of TANSA turnstiles is manufactured as a single integrated block welded to the body. Thanks to such robust construction, there is no slacking or deformation in the turnstile mechanism over time. A TANSA turnstile can be used both unidirectionally and bidirectionally thanks to its electromechanical design. The selection of directions can be configured easily by the client’s authorized security personnel. Access rights can be denied or granted remotely. All mechanical hardware and electromechanical control systems are manufactured at TANSA’s own production plants.
Emergency Mode: The arms rotate freely with the signal received from the fire detection system. Optional Drop arm.
SG 212 turnstiles are manufactured 100% at TANSA’s own production facilities by using AISI 304-certified stainless steel. They are perfect for all internal and external applications. As an option, ”STOP,” “PASS” and “BLOCKED” signs can be etched onto the plexiglass or glass wings. The motorized swing gate operates with 110 Vac. Internalvoltage is 12 Vdc. To open the swing gate, it is sufficient to use any access control unit that offers a dry contact terminal. Once the control unit signals the swing gate, the motorized SG 212 opens automatically. The turnstile closes and locks after a configurable period of time that can be set through its internal electronic card. If a person or an object gets caught in the way during the closing of the swing gate, thanks to the clutch mechanism built into its motor, the turnstile gently pushes the obstacle forward and off the way. As an option that can be used at applications like supermarket entry points, the swing gate may swing backward when a person or object gets in the way.

Tripod turnstiles are compact and cost-effective entrance solutions. Designing for smooth and silent operation, reducing power consumption, wear and tear. It is suitable for areas with high traffic. The TS1000 series, our stainless steel compact version, offers high operating reliability in a small casework, ideal for sites where space is an issue. Receiving a signal from the access control system, or pushing a button, allows the entry of one person at a time. Entering into different directions is electronically controlled. The default mode is to lock the mechanism until a valid authorization signal is received. If you want to set one side free, you can adjust the mechanism. In case of emergency, the horizontal arm will drop to allow free passage

Application
The FBL4000 is a single lane flap barrier turnstile series
designed for smooth and silent operation and draws
very little power. It’s made of stainless steel which
makes FBL4000 highly durable.
FBL4000 barriers are normally held in a locked position,
thus denying access to the secured side. Upon
FBL4000’s reader (RFID and/or fingerprint) positively
recognizing a user’s valid access card or fingerprint, its
barriers retract upward automatically, thus allowing
users passage to the secured side.
During emergencies the barriers automatically retract
upward, thereby avoid users being trapped. A battery
for power outage safety can be installed for retracting
the barrier automatically.
FBL4000 provides both security and convenient space,
all in a very durable and elegant compact design.
